Five regional preparatory meetings, in the form of seminars, have been organized for drawing in all member-institutions in the preparation of materials for discussion at the conference. Contributions for discussion in the regional seminars were obtained from member-institutions located primarily in the respective regions so that papers presented at the regional seminars could capture the diverse features of the country in appreciation of the issues inherent in the theme of the conference.
